FUEGO is one of the best Latin fusion band of Salsa, Merengue, Pop, Reggaeton,
Cumbia, Bachata, and International. A unique mix of talented musicians who create
and perform at the highest level of each genre. FUEGO has performed in many
different events from weddings, Corporate Events, Night Clubs and festivals in San
Antonio, Rockport, Victoria, Austin and the 2008 Fiesta Festival in Birmingham
Alabama sharing the stage with Sonora Carruseles (Salsa Band from Colombia)
and the 2007 Latin Grammy Award Winner Michael Salgado. Members included:
IVAN PACHECO (Lead singer/Owner). ERIC GUTIERREZ (vocals, keyboards and
programming), MIKE BAEZ (Drums and percussion) REGGIE TROCHE (Congas)
and JAIME RIVERA (Bongos and minor percussion). With talent from Puerto Rico to
Mexico to Texas, San Antonio is fortunate at this time to enjoy this diverse and
exciting musical group with "SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE"

Singer Ivan Pacheco was born in Santurce Puerto Rico. He
grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico with his family of musicians
and singers. In 1994 he started singing with many bands like
Sergio Hernandez, Uby Roy, Los Hijos de Puerto Rico and
Cesar Flores. In October 1996 OLGA TANON gave him the
opportunity to be part of her enterprise La Tanon Band as one
of the lead singers, which won 2 golden disc for 50,000+ sold
copies with “Te Toca A Ti”, Title of the second CD. During
three years, Ivan along with The Tanon Band performed and
participated in numerous events all around Latin America and
USA. Later he moved to San Antonio, Texas. In December
2003 he became part of “La Orquesta Tropicante” as a lead
singer. In 2006 Ivan decided to form this new Latin band in
San Antonio, TX called “Fuego”.

At the young age of 8, He started playing drums with the
instruction of his grandfather who taught him how to read
music. He continued through high school and became a
Music Major in College. Shortly after He went on the road
playing with many groups and artists, Some of the
highlights of his career was doing several shows with Jose
Feliciano, playing in many casinos like the "Stardust" in Las
Vegas with very well known showbands such as "Lenny V"
and "The Alley Band". In 2003 He moved to San Antonio and
became a member of " Escape". Mike's great experience
and versatility in many styles and percussion instruments is
what keeps him in demand.
Jaime (Mito): Bongos/Minor Percussion
Jaime was born in Puerto Rico. He has played with different
Groups and "Orquestas" since the seventies like "Willie
Sotelo" group, "Impacto Latino", "La Predilecta",
"Tropicante", "Shati", etc. He opened for various Orquestas
and Solo artists in Salsa Festivals all over Texas like: Tito
Gomez, Gilberto Santarrosa, Tony Vega and Grupo Niche.
Jaime also backed up solo singers like Gianko, Rey
Sepulveda, Hector Tricoche, Paquito Acosta, Luigi Texidor,
El Cano Estremera, Luisito Carrion and "El Sonero del
pueblo", Marvin Santiago. Now, "Mito" is adding a new layer
on his long and prolific musical career with "Fuego".
Eric: Keyboards/Programming/Guitar/Vocals
Eric was born right here in San Antonio, Tx. He grew up
listening to all kinds of music. While in school, he was
taught how to play the trombone. He joined the army in
1997. He was given a guitar and taught himself how to
play. Shortly after, he started playing in various rock bands.
He met Ivan Carlos while stationed here at Fort Sam
Houston and then joined him in the band Fuego.
About Fuego
Reggie Troche was born in Florida and raised in
Bayamon, Puerto Rico. In Bayamon, He learned to play
congas at the early age of ten years old under the
influence of many afro-puertorrican percussionists.
During his early development he was exposed to the
teachings of Giovanni Hidalgo and Bobby Allende.
Reggie performed with many bands in Miami including
Tito Nieves, Brenda K-Starr, Frankie Negron etc… and
San Antonio like, Orquesta "Chokolate", Orquesta
"Tropicante“.
